We are getting very close to wrapping up the renovations of the facility, and the creative studios are looking sharp. Based on confirmed interest from some early registrants on our waiting list, we expect that it will be a dynamic and exciting environment at launch.
The main level coworking space is also moving along nicely. While there was technically less work to be done, we’ve worked with some amazing craftsmen to transform and recycle old materials from the building into beautiful new tables and fixtures. Our coffee bar is custom made from solid Maple doors salvaged from the upper levels; not only is it a great thing for the environment, but the quality is exceptional — well beyond our budget if we were even able to purchase the same materials new today.
The second floor is dedicated to private art studios, and we have an eclectic mix of talent on our move-in list: muralists, sculptors, painters, photographers, mixed media & folk artists and tie dye fashonistas will help to define our community culture for years to come.
